Weapon Master

Weapon Masters are prestige-class martial specialists who bind their combat style to one chosen melee weapon. Their class features improve that weapon's accuracy, critical damage, and critical threat range.

Class Type: Prestige class.
Hit Die: d10.
Proficiencies: A Weapon Master does not gain any additional weapon or armor proficiencies.
Skill Points: 2 + Int Modifier.
Class Skills: Discipline, Heal, Intimidate, Listen, Lore, Spot.
Primary Saving throw(s): Reflex.
Base Attack Bonus: +1/level.
Primary Ability: Strength.
Maximum Level: None.


Requirements

Base Attack Bonus: +5.
Skills: Intimidate 4 ranks.
Feats: Dodge, Mobility, Expertise, Whirlwind Attack, and Weapon Focus in one valid melee weapon group: Simple weapons, Light blades, Heavy blades, Oriental weapons, Axes, Hammers, Double weapons, or Polearms.

Class Features

Weapon of Choice: The Weapon Master chooses one weapon. Weapon Master special abilities work only while using that weapon. On Arkhalia, Weapon of Choice selects one weapon inside the chosen weapon group the whole weapon group. It can be selected multiple times as an epic bonus feat.

Ki Damage: Once per day per Weapon Master level, the Weapon Master may deal maximum weapon damage with the weapon of choice.

Increase Multiplier: Adds +1 to the critical damage multiplier of the weapon of choice.

Superior Weapon Focus: Adds +1 attack bonus with the weapon of choice.

Ki Critical: Adds +1 to the threat range +2 to the threat range of the weapon of choice.

Example: a weapon with increased multiplier and a 19-20/x3 critical profile becomes 18-20/x3, not 17-20/x3.

Epic Weapon Master

At 11th level, the class gains Epic Weapon Master.

Hit Die: d10.
Skill Points: 2 + Int Modifier.
Ki Damage Uses/Day: equal to Weapon Master class level.
Epic Bonus Feats: gained every three levels after 10th, starting at level 13.
Epic Superior Weapon Focus: starting at level 13, the Weapon Master gains an additional +1 attack bonus with the weapon of choice every three epic Weapon Master levels.

Armor Skin, Blinding Speed, Devastating Critical, Epic Damage Reduction, Epic Prowess, Epic Toughness, Epic Weapon Focus, Improved Whirlwind Attack, Overwhelming Critical, Superior Initiative, Weapon of Choice.

Notes

Arkhalia weapon focus feats are grouped. Weapon Master prerequisites should be read through the grouped weapon-focus rules on the ruleset page, not through old single-weapon focus wording.
