Drow

Drow are an exiled elven people of the Underdark whose society is shaped by Lolth, political rivalry, ambush, and deadly precision.

Ability Adjustments: +2 Dexterity, -2 Constitution, +2 Intelligence, +2 Charisma.
Favored Classes: Cleric for female drow; Wizard for male drow.
Unlocking: Use the matching Race book - “Drow” once before creating a character of this race.

• Sleeplessness: Is immune to spells and effects of the Sleep subtype.
• Hardiness vs. Enchantments: Gains a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against mind-affecting spells.
• Bonus Proficiencies: Is proficient with the hand crossbow, rapier, and shortsword.
• Skill Affinity (Listen): Gains a +2 racial bonus to Listen checks.
• Skill Affinity (Search): Gains a +2 racial bonus to Search checks.
• Skill Affinity (Spot): Gains a +2 racial bonus to Spot checks.
• Keen Senses: Makes active Search checks automatically and without movement penalties.
• Darkvision: Can see in the dark.
• Light Blindness: Abrupt exposure to light causes blindness for 1 round. In bright light, also suffers a -1 circumstance penalty to attack rolls, saving throws, and checks.
• Elven: Is considered Elven for the purpose of spells.
• Level Adjustment +1: Is treated as one level higher when experience rewards from killing monsters are calculated.
