====== Tempest ====== {{:en:class-changes:tempest.jpg?nolink&400 |}} The Tempest is the point of calm within a whirling barrier of deadly blades. Poets use colorful terms such as dancer to describe the movement of a Tempest and her two blades, but mastery of this fighting style is not about dancing. Nor is it about impressing anyone - least of all poets. The Tempest focuses on learning the ultimate secrets of two-weapon fighting for a single purpose - the destruction of her enemies. **Class Type**: Prestige class. **Hit Die**: d10. **Proficiencies**: Tempests gain no weapon or armor proficiencies. **Skill Points**: 2 + Int Modifier. **Class Skills**: Discipline, Heal, Listen, Parry, Spot, Tumble. **Class-Skill Key Abilities**: The tempest's class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Discipline (Str), Heal (Wis), Listen (Wis), Parry (Dex), Spot (Wis) and Tumble (Dex). **Primary Saving Throw(s)**: Fort. **Base Attack Bonus**: +1/level. **Primary Ability**: Dexterity. **Maximum Level**: 5. **Spellcasting**: None. ---- ===== Requirements ===== **Base Attack Bonus**: +6 **Feats**: Improved Two-Weapon Fighting, Lightning Reflexes, Woodland Stride. **Special**: A book of Tempest is required to unlock this class. ===== Level Progression ===== ^ Level ^ Base Attack Bonus ^ Fort Save ^ Ref Save ^ Will Save ^ Class Features ^ | 1 | +1 | +2 | +0 | +0 | Tempest Defense +1 | | 2 | +2 | +3 | +0 | +0 | Absolute Ambidexterity | | 3 | +3 | +3 | +1 | +1 | Tempest Defense +2 | | 4 | +4 | +4 | +1 | +1 | Two-Weapon Versatility | | 5 | +5 | +4 | +1 | +1 | Greater Two-Weapon Fighting, Tempest Defense +3 | ===== Class Features ===== ^ Feature ^ Level(s) ^ Description ^ | Tempest Defense | 1, 3, 5 | Grants an Armor Class bonus while fighting with two weapons.
